FAQ
How do I invite someone to my household?
1. Open Einstellungen (Settings) in Hausgeist.
2. Tap “Haushalt teilen” (Share household).
3. Send the invitation link, e.g. via Messages.
4. The other person opens the link on their iPhone – done.
Why aren’t changes syncing?
Hausgeist syncs via iCloud. Check that you are signed in to iCloud in your iPhone settings and that iCloud Drive is turned on.
Can I belong to two households?
No. A person belongs to exactly one household. Accepting an invitation means leaving your current household – the app tells you before that happens.
Can my partner see my private chores?
No. “Meine Aufgaben” (My chores) are only visible to you, “Haushalt” (Household) is shared.
